About Us
Organisation for Development Action (ODA) was established in 2003 to promote community-based rehabilitation (CBR) efforts for persons with disabilities and other marginalised populations facing poverty and social inequality in rural settings, under the leadership of Mr. L. Lobithas.

What We do
Our policies, systems, work culture, internal audits, monitoring and evaluation of the programs reflect our commitment to high standards of accountability and transparency. At the grassroots, our partnership with people’s organisations keeps us accountable, committed, and responsive to the target beneficiaries and their communities. Our Board exercises overall governance, leadership, risk management and ensures compliances to statutory requirements
ODA actively promote self-help groups among persons with disabilities in rural areas and build their capacity to access rehabilitation services, initiate productive livelihoods and to claim rightful entitlements from the government.
Activities
Livelihood promotion is part of our CBR interventions as it is essential to ensure that both youth and adults with disabilities have access to training and employment opportunities at the community level. In our project area, we are providing entrepreneurship
development, skill development, job placement and arranging financial help to start self-employment units, etc.
Children born with disabilities and developmental delays are found to be high in number. We provide early intervention service through home-based support and setting up early intervention centers and extending all possible early intervention service, including medical, education and therapeutic care.
